MS. ARCHAMBAULT? THANK YOU, WE NOW MOVE TO THE PUBLIC COMMENT SECTION OF OUR AGENDA.THE BOARD WELCOMES COMMENTS REGARDING AGENDA ITEMS FROM INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE COMPLETED PUBLIC COMMENT FORMS THIS MORNING, WHICH ARE ACCEPTED UNTIL THE BEGINNING OF THE OPEN MEETING AND ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE TO OTHER SPEAKERS.
DURING THE PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD, COMMENTS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES ONLY, NOT TO OTHER ATTENDEES, AND ONLY MADE ONCE YOU'VE BEEN CALLED UPON TO SPEAK TO ENSURE THAT ALL SPEAKERS ARE TREATED EQUALLY AND HAVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME, THE PODIUM MICROPHONE WILL BE TURNED OFF AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE TIME FOR EVERY SPEAKER.
PLEASE KEEP ALL PUBLIC COMMENTS RELATED TO DISTRICT BUSINESS AND GOVERNANCE.
IF YOU HAVE A SPECIFIC CONCERN RELATED TO AN EMPLOYEE OF THE DISTRICT OR A SPECIFIC STUDENT ISSUE, YOU SHOULD UTILIZE THE DISTRICT'S GRIEVANCE PROCEDURES PROVIDED IN BOARD POLICIES DGBA, LOCAL, F AND G, LOCAL AND GF LOCAL.
EACH GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE ALLOWS FOR AN INDIVIDUAL TO REDRESS GRIEVANCES WITH THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES.

ALL INDIVIDUALS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A FULL NAME AND HOME ADDRESS WHEN SIGNING UP TO SPEAK.
STAKEHOLDERS WILL BE CALLED IN THE ORDER IN WHICH EACH INDIVIDUAL SIGNED UP TO SPEAK.
IT LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE ONE SPEAKER FOR TODAY.
MR. BUDDY MINETT I WANTED TO BEAT THE CROWD HERE.
SO I'M BUDDY MINETT AND I LIVE AT 8548 SCOTT CIRCLE HERE FRISCO.
FIRST OFF, I WANT TO THANK THE BOARD.
SO I DO WANT TO THANK ALL Y'ALL FOR THAT.
I THINK THAT THIS IS AN EFFORT TO TRY AND TAMP DOWN OPPOSITION, IF YOU WILL, TO.
I MEAN, THEY'RE CALLING IT ELECTIONEERING.
YOU KNOW, THE STATE REALLY DOESN'T WANT EDUCATORS TO SPEAK OUT ON THIS PARTICULAR SUBJECT ON, YOU KNOW, THE BASICALLY THEIR FAILURE TO ADEQUATELY FUND SCHOOL DISTRICTS. THEY'VE, YOU KNOW, WE'VE HELD STEADY SINCE 2019, HALF A DECADE NOW SINCE THE STATE'S ALLOCATED MORE MONEY PER STUDENT.
OBVIOUSLY, THAT CAN'T GO ON FOREVER IF YOU'RE RUNNING YOU KNOW, DEFICIT BALANCES.
YOU KNOW, IT'S I THINK OUR WILLINGNESS TO FIGHT ON THIS I THINK OTHER DISTRICTS ARE LOOKING HERE.
I THINK THERE'S MAYBE 8 OR 10 DISTRICTS IN VARIOUS SITUATIONS LIKE THIS.
SOME MAY BE MORE DELICATE THAN OTHERS.
WHERE ARE WE GOING TO STAND DOWN? ARE WE GOING TO STAND UP AND FIGHT? TRY TO MAKE A POINT HERE.
YOU KNOW, IT KIND OF REMINDS ME IT'S ALMOST LIKE A LITTLE BIT LIKE A SCHOOLYARD BULLY WHO COMES AND STEALS YOUR LUNCH MONEY AND THEN THREATENS YOU IF YOU'RE GOING TO GO TO THE TEACHER AND COMPLAIN ABOUT IT.
I MEAN, THEY'RE TRYING TO SHUT DOWN THAT KIND OF STUFF.
I MEAN, I HATE BULLIES, I JUST BASICALLY SAY, DON'T GIVE IN TO THE BULLIES.
[00:05:05]
SO AND BUT I DO SUPPORT THE BOARD AND THE DISTRICT.BOARD WILL MOVE TO AGENDA ITEM NUMBER THREE, WHICH WILL BE OUR CLOSED SESSION.
[3. Closed Session under Texas Government Code Chapter 551, Subchapters D and E.]
UNDER TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE, CHAPTER 551, SUBCHAPTER D AND E.DURING THIS TIME, WE WILL CONSULT WITH OUR DISTRICT COUNCIL AS A MATTER IN WHICH THE DUTY OF THE ATTORNEY TO THE GOVERNMENTAL BODY UNDER THE TEXAS DISCIPLINARY RULES OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT OF THE STATE BOARD OF TEXAS, CLEARLY CONFLICTS WITH CHAPTER 551 OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE, PURSUANT TO SECTION 551.071 OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE.
I DID ALL OF THAT WITHOUT MY GLASSES.
IT IS 10:35 AND WE ARE RECONVENING INTO OUR OPEN MEETING.
[4. Reconvene in Open Meeting]
CONTINUING WITH AGENDA ITEM 5.[5.A. Consider and take possible action related to on-going litigation matters. ]
A BOARD AS A RESULT OF OUR CLOSED SESSION, THERE IS NO ACTION TO BE TAKEN AT THIS TIME.OUR COUNCIL HAS BEEN GIVEN DIRECTION TO MOVE FORWARD ON BEHALF OF THE DISTRICT, AND AT
